Faltering Waves?

"Lands curling back into the palm of their Creator.
They retreat but don't give up.

Fulmination. Is that the new answer?
People and animals alike.

Death and carnage.
It isn't of our volition. "


Well, just to clarify this verse is NOT about the environment.

After hearing about the tragedy that took place at Virginia Tech University, it made me think a lot. About the crisis our world will go through. It's the year 2007. The initial stages of the crisis have begun. So what can we do about it? Sit and watch as we destroy ourselves? I mean that does seem like the only option, doesn't it?

Wait for World War Three to erupt.
Wait for more terrorist attacks and bombings.
Wait for more innocent people like students to die.

Not really. It's not too late.

The answer is peace. I think we all figured that out a long time ago.

There will be a time when the world will rise in protest. Very soon in fact. Instead of there being 50-100 peace organisations per city, there will be a ONE gathering.
It has already begun in the USA with the people protesting as ONE against the American troops not being withdrawn from Iraq.
Instead of waiting around for our own demolition, we will rise up against the bombings, the shoot-outs, the unnecessary wars (and the so-called necessary ones). Against our very own selves (in a way). Except we will not let History repeat itself. We won't lose something that we have always forsaken. Our unity, our togetherness. One cause, one motive, one reason, one want. Just one. Instead of 100,000,000 groups of people fighting for the same thing - One mass of people.

It has begun. It will grow. It will be successful. It's time to revive what we once had.

It's finally sinking in.
